Irene provides NEXUS Clients with Lean Business Process Consulting and LEAN/ERP Integration and also supports the Client Productivity Improvement Profiling Process for NEXUS.


She has held management and Project leadership roles, primarily for multinational corporations, with broad experience for defining and adopting LEAN and ERP best practices.


Irene has worked as a LEAN project coordinator within the multinational pharmaceutical industry and has led projects to improve the processes for production and packaging, validation, procurement, regional sourcing and technology transfer. 

She has led ERP (MRPII) Implementation projects with the achievement of Class A status. This included providing strong education and training of staff involving the need for culture change, with a strong focus on targeted performance monitoring, process re-engineering, establishment of robust processes and ongoing productivity improvement across all functional areas. 

Irene has supported New Product Introductions in a management role including technical liaison for the regionalization for supply of products to several other countries including the support of regulatory and validation activities for foreign drug agency approvals and certifications. 

She has led Procurement projects as Procurement manager and Sourcing Group leader for a region covering 6 countries and 8 sites.

Her leadership and consulting style is collaborative with emphasis on teamwork and co-operation.

Irene is a Registered Pharmacist (SA). With further courses on Six Sigma, Sourcing Group Management (SGM), Kempner Trego (Rational process problem solving).
